The Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (CELTA) is considered the gold standard teaching qualification.

CELTA is awarded by Cambridge Assessment English, part of the University of Cambridge and is a qualification for teaching English as a foreign language. It is the most widely recognised English teaching qualification in the world and the most often requested by employers.
