Training and Assessment Skill Sets
What are Skill Sets?
Skill Sets are nationally recognised training components outlined in endorsed training packages. They consist of two or more units of competency designed to meet specific licensing, regulatory, or industry needs. Unlike a full qualification, skill Sets offer a targeted and flexible way to gain essential skills.
The TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment includes 16 Skill Sets, each aligned with industry specialisations.
For those involved in enterprise and industry training or VET in Schools, a full TAE qualification may not be required. Completing a relevant Skill Set can provide the necessary competencies without committing to the entire qualification.
Additionally, Skill Sets can be a pathway to further study, as the units completed may count towards the TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or other qualifications that include these units.
